The Pastor

Reverend Lori Nickoloff became our Transition Pastor in September 2024.  She is originally from the Midwest, but has lived in the Rochester area since 1984. Lori earned her BA in Gerontology from St. John Fisher College and her MDiv from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to becoming ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Lori worked for the New York State Ombudsman Program through Lifespan and was the Bereavement Coordinator for the Hospice Program of Wayne and Seneca Counties. Lori and her husband, Keith have three married children and nine grandchildren. Lori enjoys reading, travel, the theater, spending time with friends and family, and taking walks with her Bordoodle, Boaz. She is the pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Penn Yan, NY.
