Rev. Jennifer Long is returning as our pastor in May 2026!
Pastor Jennifer grew up in northern Connecticut and through her home church had opportunities to participate in region and national church life, as well as work at church camp. All three experiences were formative for her faith. She felt called to ministry at the age of 17, and after college left Connecticut for Eden Seminary in St. Louis, MO. She has served churches in Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, and now she’s back in New York again.  While her roots are in the United Church of Christ, she is happy to serve in the ELCA as an ecumenical partner and looks forward to being back with her family of faith at Emanuel Lutheran!
