The Reverend Jennifer Long

Pastor Jennifer has been the pastor at Emanuel Lutheran Church since 2016.  She grew up in northern Connecticut and through her home church had opportunities to participate in regional and
national church life, as well as work at church camp. All three experiences were formative in her faith. She felt called to ministry at the age of 17, and after college left Connecticut for Eden Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  Following graduation in the summer of 1996,

Pastor Jennifer served churches in Wisconsin and Michigan for 16 years, followed by church consulting and interim work. While her roots are in the United Church of Christ, she could not be happier to be serving in the ELCA as an ecumenical partner and is enjoying her shared journey with the family of faith at Emanuel Lutheran!
